veNFTs (vote-escrowed NFTs) represent locked governance tokens in DEX protocols like Aero, Hydrex, Pharaoh, Blackhole and Velodrome. They earn weekly voting rewards from trading fees and bribes, but the underlying tokens are locked — often for years. 40 Acres lets you borrow against that future revenue.

How is my borrowing limit calculated?

Your credit line is based on what your veNFT earns: locked amount × weekly rewards rate × the protocol's epoch multiplier. Your borrowing power reflects the revenue your veNFT actually generates, not just its market value.

How do self-repaying loans work?

When you deposit your veNFT, 40 Acres keeps collecting the weekly voting rewards it earns. Most of those rewards repay your loan automatically; a share goes to lenders and the protocol. On Aero and Hydrex that share depends on your loan-to-value — borrow less and more of your rewards go to repayment. On Pharaoh and Blackhole it's a fixed 75% to repayment, 20% to lenders and 5% to the protocol. You never make a manual payment.

Can I get liquidated?

No. 40 Acres loans are non-liquidatable and cannot be forcibly closed by anyone, including the protocol. Because your veNFT continuously generates rewards that repay the loan, there is no liquidation mechanism at all.

What chains and protocols are supported?

40 Acres is live on Base (Aero, Hydrex) and Avalanche (Pharaoh, Blackhole). Velodrome on Optimism is closed to new loans; existing Velodrome loans keep repaying. Each protocol has its own epoch multiplier that determines borrowing capacity.

There is no recurring interest. Opening or topping up a credit line has a one-time 0.8% origination fee. After that, the cost of a loan is a share of your veNFT's weekly rewards that goes to lenders and the protocol: on Aero and Hydrex it rises with your loan-to-value (the simulator shows your exact share); on Pharaoh and Blackhole it's a fixed 25%.

Clear space

Keep empty space around the logo of at least half its height, on every side. Nothing (text, other logos, the edge of the frame) goes inside it.

Minimum size

96px wide

24px tall

Below 96px wide the wordmark stops reading; use the 40 mark or a round badge instead, no smaller than 24px.

Do

Use the files from this page as they are: black on light backgrounds, white on dark ones.
Write the name as “40 Acres”: numeral first, two words. Not “40acres”, “FortyAcres” or “40 ACRES”.
Set any copy next to the logo in Instrument Sans.
