How is my borrowing limit calculated?

Your credit line is based on your veNFT's average weekly rewards multiplied by the epoch multiplier. The formula is: locked amount × rewards rate × epoch multiplier. This means your borrowing power reflects actual revenue your veNFT generates, not just its market value.

How do self-repaying loans work?

When you deposit your veNFT, 40 Acres continues to collect the weekly voting rewards it generates. 75% of those rewards are directed to repaying your loan, 20% compensates lenders, and 5% goes to the protocol treasury. You never make a manual payment — your loan shrinks automatically each epoch.

Can I get liquidated?

No. 40 Acres loans are non-liquidatable and cannot be forcibly closed by anyone, including the protocol. Because your veNFT continuously generates rewards that repay the loan, there is no liquidation mechanism at all.

What chains and protocols are supported?

40 Acres is live on Base (Aerodrome), Optimism (Velodrome), and Avalanche (Pharaoh & Blackhole). Each protocol has its own epoch multiplier that determines borrowing capacity.

There is a one-time origination fee of 0.8% to open a credit line, plus a 1% relayer fee on rewards. There is zero recurring interest. Weekly rewards are split 75/20/5 between loan repayment, lenders, and the protocol treasury.
